Series 2: Shark Tank

Ep. 70 - John Tabis - Bouqs

In 2012, John Tabis launched this California based company alongside co-founder Juan Pablo Montufar. The two had high hopes for Bouqs a sustainable and eco-friendly company that delivers flowers from around the world.

In 2014, Tabis went on Shark Tank looking for an investment unfortunately, the sharks denied his offer. The young entrepreneur did not take this as a setback, he looked at it as a step back. He took the experience as a lesson and used the knowledge he learned to help his company bloom. Bouq's has grown so much since it's inception and cannot wait for the future.

"Barbara trashed the name 'Bouqs' saying it was "the worst name ever'. But three weeks after the show John noticed she signed up to be a customer. Not thrilled with the name but loves the flowers."
