Ep. 87 - Sheri LaBrant
Sheri Lewis LaBrant and Cole LaBrant are a Mother/Son team on The Amazing Race 28.
Starting with a poor placement in the first leg, Sheri & Cole always found themselves at the back of the pack, never finishing in the top half of the group until the ninth leg of the race. Struggles with navigation, Sheri's lesser physical prowess, and their shared fear of heights became their biggest weaknesses in the race.
Their positivity, courage, and "heart", allowed them to overcome their struggles in the race alongside two Non-Elimination Legs and a U-Turn, sparing them from elimination on multiple occasions.
"When we came in third in China it was a turning point for us. We talked about it after that and said to each other that we can really win this race. Let's go for it."
