Ep. 157 - Giacomo Alfieri
Giacomo "Jack" Alfieri is a father, husband and chef based in DFW, Texas. His appearance on Season 2 of Hell's Kitchen is memorable for many reasons. The fluffy haired pizza chef from Euless remains the youngest chef contestant in the history of the show and his signature dish was the only one that Chef Ramsay enjoyed in Episode 1. While he didn't make it mid-season, his image and swagger are burned in the memories of Hell's Kitchen fans.
Jack lives in Euless Texas with his amazing wife and three beautiful children. Alongside his brother, restaurateur and musician Anthony, Jack is the head chef and visionary behind Saviano's Italian Kitchen. Saviano's was started by his father, Sal, while his boys were very young and Jack and Anthony grew up in the kitchen. Saviano's is legendary in DFW for being a family-friendly restaurant serving elevated but traditional Italian dishes.
Jack's intense and natural charisma has been a powerful draw to his restaurant and is often showcased on his self-produced podcasts and video interviews that can be seen on the Alfieri Brothers YouTube Channel.
"If I was being honest, I learned early on I was a little over my head. I didn't realize that I would be literally thrown into the kitchen with no direction. My expectations were different and I just tried to do the best I could."
