Jan Goetgeluk is the founder and CEO of Virtuix. Virtuix sells the Omni virtual reality treadmill and Omni Arena esports attraction, a turnkey four-player VR system that includes weekly and monthly esports contests with a $100,000 annual prize pool.
Virtuix has shipped over 4,000 Omni systems to date to over 500 entertainment venues in 45 countries. Virtuix, a venture-funded company, has raised more than $20MM from individual and institutional investors.
"I completed all the application paperwork but never sent it in. A few weeks later I received a call from producers at Shark Tank telling hme they love the product and want me to complete the process. A month later I was in studio in Culver City, California."
