Here in the south, cooking and baking are all about creating something together and sharing the love. We carry this tradition into every delicious hand-made Daisy Cake. Each cake is baked with the freshest ingredients and carefully packed by hand.
Kim had previously seen success selling her cakes on QVC, but after her appearance in the Tank (where Barbara Corcoran famously invested $50,000 for a twenty-five percent stake in the company), her sales took off like never before.
"When Barbara and I met with a QVC rep he said, 'For every cake you sell on QVC you will sell an additional six more on your website'. And Barbara replied, 'BS'. She was right ‐ QVC clients are very loyal to QVC."

The company started in 2009 with Nelson and her mother making all the cakes themselves. But after an appearance on ???Shark Tank,??? Nelson went from selling 2,000 cakes in a year to selling 2,000 cakes in a single day.
