Matt is the cofounder and CEO of Novel Effect. An all around family man, Matt lives in Seattle with his wife and fellow cofounder, Melissa Hammersley and their two kids.
Matt has not followed the ordinary path, starting his first business at the age of 11. After a chemical engineering degree, some cryptography for the DOD, a law degree, and a ten-year career as a patent attorney, Matt founded Novel Effect with Melissa in 2015 and hasn't looked back.
