Series 1: The Big Break

Ep. 33 - Andy Walker - Ireland

Andy was introduced to the game at a young age by his father. He competed in his first tournament when he was five. Walker loves competition. He thrives on it. His motto is, “I don’t have a passion for golf as much as I have a passion for competitive golf.”

Andy first tasted national collegiate success as a student-athlete, winning the 1997 NCAA National Championship at Pepperdine University. During his three years as a Pepperdine Wave, Walker was a two-time All-West Coast Conference selection and the 1997 WCC Individual Champion.

"I grew up in Phoenix so I dont do cool weather, so thirty degrees, forty mile per hour winds and rain added to the pressure but no more pressure than I put on myself."
On dealing with the weather in Ireland
