James Wallington and Will Jardell describe their winning journey on The Amazing Race, as a dream come true. Not only ended in a $1 million dollar prize, but also in a surprise proposal.
Will tearfully got down on one knee on the mat at the finish line to a shocked James, after coming in first place ??? and becoming the first LGBTQ couple to get engaged on the CBS reality series.
Both have appeared on other shows as well: In 2014, Will competed in the 21st season of America's Next Top Model, the second season to feature male contestants. He placed runner-up, losing to Keith Carlos. In 2013, James competed in Capture with his sister Rebecca. They finished 8th.
"We felt really secure in our relationship when we walked away from the Race. There are very stressful times during the Race, but we worked through them. We were tested and proved we were strong enough to handle it all."
