Series 2: Shark Tank

Ep. 166 - Lili Yeo - Goumi Kids

Lili Yeo has 23 years of experience in consumer marketing with Fortune 200 companies and the last ten years with goumikids — a startup that she co-founded. She has led the successful incubation, pivot and continued growth of goumikids, a baby apparel & accessories brand that is distributed online and in brick & mortar stores with a reach of over fifteen countries and made their cameo last year on ABC's Shark Tank.

Prior to goumikids, she headed the China practice at Ziba design and earned her consumer marketing chops at NIKE, Adidas & HP. Lili holds an MBA IMD in Switzerland, a BA in International Marketing from the University of Washington and picked up her mandarin at Beijing University. Lili speaks five languages and is mom to two mini me's - Iliana & Ariana.

"After the handshake deal in the Tank, we spent most of our due diligence with Alex (Kevin's right hand man). It was put on hold because a month after we were on Shark Tank, Kevin and his wife were involved in a boating accident. It ended up great and we were very happy to work with Kevin and his team."
Lili's due diligence with Kevin's team was delayed due to the boating accident
