Series 2: Shark Tank

Ep. 146 - Melissa Lay – SandiLake Clothing

While staying at home with her two small children, Melissa founded Sandilake Clothing, a unisex children's apparel company in 2014. In just a few short years she found herself in an globally broadcasted battle with Target over copied clothing design, and landed a spot on Shark Tank.

After her episode aired on Shark Tank, Mel sold SandiLake Clothing and co-founded an eco-friendly blank apparel company called Allmade Apparel. The new product is made from recycled water bottles, and has sold over a million t-shirts to date.
