Dr.Julie Goldman perfects life’s grand entrances with her non-slip fabric aisle runners.
After earning her Master and Doctorate degrees from Columbia University, Julie was inspired by her own wedding to launch her wildly popular business The Original Runner Company in order to provide the world with the first non-slip fabric aisle runners for weddings and special events.
After fifteen years in the event industry, The Original Runner Company has sold millions of dollars of her unique aisle runners in more than twenty countries. Dr. Goldman and her company have also been featured on the TV show Shark Tank, in over 200 magazines, 30 television shows and a featured speaker on entrepreneurship at conferences nationwide.
"I was asked by Shark Tank to participate in Season 1 but I didn't think a 'reality show' would help my business. In Season 2, I was contacted again and took a closer look at the show. I was the leader in this vertical and concerned about copy cats but realized this would expand the brand, so I went for it."
