Meghan Tarmey graduated Coastal Carolina University with a bachelor of arts degree in Communication and a minor in theater. While a junior at coastal, she launched her golf caddying and event staffing agency, The Caddy Group, which has now been running 13 years strong, expanded all over the US and has been featured on the hit ABC award-winning show Shark Tank.

Meghan has been an advocate for promoting golf to young women for the last decade. Her philosophy is to grow the game for beginners in a non judgmental environment while teaching the fundamentals of caddying to her team and providing ongoing free golf clinics and range sessions for females.

Off the greens, she launched her company's non-profit, FAM, which stands for Females Aiding in Mentorship which aims to inspire young women to grow, mentor and influence others positively through giving back and volunteering. Her team of female caddies have now become dedicated volunteers and philanthropists, volunteering locally and abroad.

Meghan has a second home, in Guatemala, where she spends several weeks out of the year working with a local NGO, Project Genesis, which aims to provide education, mentoring and healthcare to underprivileged youth. Dozens of her golf caddies have volunteered abroad over the past three years working with over 100 children living in extreme poverty in Chimaltenango, Guatemala.

After living in the big apple post CCU graduation for 8 years, she has settled in sunny Scottsdale Arizona which is the busiest market for her company and where she can get out and golf year-round.
