Series 2: Shark Tank

Ep. 103 - Lisa Lloyd - Treasure Chest Pets

Treasure Chest Pets was a niche market of stuffed animals with small compartments to hide treasure.

In the tank, Lisa was offered $150,000 for 60% of her company. The deal with Barbara never happened but Daymond kept his word. Under all the pressure and count less knock-offs of her product Lisa had a hard time keeping up. Saldy Treasure Chest Pets went out of business but she still works with Daymond Johns.

"Later on, Treasure Chest Pets was 'knocked off' and if I'm being honest they created a better product. It didn't have to be as complicated as I made it, but I learned so much from inventing that product."
Lisa seemed to take the ups and downs as business lessons and learned from it all
